During the July 10 episode of her popular podcast, “Dumb Blonde,” 46-year-old Bunnie Xo addressed the reasoning behind her decision to remove a previous installment. That pulled episode had featured an open and raw discussion regarding the end of her decade-long marriage to musician Jelly Roll.
Bunnie explained that her primary motivation for taking the content down was a desire to protect her privacy during a difficult transition. “I realized I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline,” she stated. She emphasized the importance of allowing individuals the necessary space to heal and grow without the pressure of public observation, adding, “I don’t want the divorce to become my entire personality. I don’t want to be the poster child for divorce.”

Many observers suggested she had “moved on” quickly, a narrative she firmly rejected. “I’ve been mourning the loss of my marriage for at least a year,” she shared, describing the private pain she endured while processing the impending separation, which included moments of profound grief.

Despite the high engagement the episode garnered—reportedly generating significant revenue—Bunnie asserted that financial gain was never her priority. “I don’t care about the money. If I cared about the money, I would’ve left it up,” she insisted.
