Prioritizing Comfort in the Third Trimester
As Olivia Culpo enters the final stages of her second pregnancy, the 34-year-old is placing a premium on effortless style. Recently, the former Miss Universe took to social media to showcase a relaxed look that blurs the lines between loungewear and daily attire.
Sharing a mirror selfie, Culpo highlighted a blue pinstripe two-piece set from ASTR the Label. “Not sure if this is considered pajamas or day clothes, but right now I’m only wearing things that qualify as both,” she noted, adding, “This is prettyyyy comfy!” The ensemble featured the brand’s Rena Longline Tunic, which she wore unbuttoned to highlight her baby bump, paired with matching trousers.
A Shift Toward Simplified Style
Culpo, who is married to NFL star Christian McCaffrey, has been open about how motherhood has influenced her fashion choices. The couple, who welcomed their eldest daughter, Colette, in July 2025, announced they were expecting their second child this past May.
Reflecting on her evolving wardrobe, Culpo previously shared her strategy for managing a busy life with children:
“When you’re a mom, you really do have to find ways to streamline your life. You don’t have enough time to go through piles and piles of clothes, and you don’t want to — you want to spend time with your baby. I find myself reaching for the same things — having more uniforms, if you will. It’s been a really great way to just simplify getting dressed.”
Planning for Delivery Amidst Football Season
Beyond her wardrobe, Culpo has been transparent about her preparations for the upcoming birth. In a recent video update, she confirmed she is scheduled for a Cesarean section, citing medical advice regarding the timeframe required between deliveries to safely attempt a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
Coordinating the date has required careful consideration of her husband’s professional commitments. “I scheduled it on a day Christian has a slightly easier day,” she explained, noting that the NFL schedule makes timing particularly challenging. “A common misconception is that football season starts in September. It actually starts at the end of July when they head to training camp, and it goes straight through.”
Culpo noted that this birth experience will differ from her first, as McCaffrey will be able to be present for the delivery before returning to his team duties.
