A Shift in Career Path
Jessie Cave, known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film series, has opened up about the significant financial impact of her work on OnlyFans. In a recent interview, the 39-year-old actress revealed that the income generated from the platform has surpassed her total earnings from her entire acting career within just one year.
Cave originally started the venture as a temporary measure, noting, «I thought I’d make five grand, be on for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do, but it’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives.»
The Nature of the Content
Despite the platform's reputation for adult content, Cave maintains a very specific focus for her subscribers. She describes her page as being dedicated entirely to hair, stating: «My rule is the hair is the main character. That’s how I justify it. It’s literally about hair and the texture of hair. The fetish. It’s very, very niche.»
Motivations and Financial Stability
The mother of four explained that her decision to join the platform in 2025 stemmed from a moment of profound personal struggle following a rejected acting audition. Faced with the high costs of childcare and the impracticality of working traditional retail jobs—where she feared being recognized for her past film work—she found herself at a crossroads.
«I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also I don’t want people shouting Harry Potter spells at me,» she shared regarding the difficulties of balancing her public profile with the need for financial stability.
Personal Investments
To celebrate the success of her platform after its first year, Cave opted to fund a breast augmentation. Reflecting on the procedure, she noted the personal significance of the decision, stating: «I’ve breastfed four babies, clocking up six years of feeding and pumping. I am so grateful my body was able to do that, but I thought it was time to do something for myself.»
