Visa Extension Granted Amid Family Crisis
Former 90 Day Fiancé participant Armando Niedermeier-Rubio has shared a positive update regarding his legal status while navigating a difficult health journey with his daughter, Hannah. The 37-year-old reality star announced on Sunday, July 26, that his humanitarian visa has been granted a 30-day extension, allowing him to stay in Arizona to support his child during her medical recovery.
“Approved. My Humanitarian Visa has been extended for 30 more days!” Armando wrote in a social media update. “This means I can continue being in Arizona with Hannah while she receives the medical treatment she still needs and, most importantly, remain by her side through her recovery, together with Kenny, for the next month at least.”
Gratitude for Official Support
Armando expressed profound appreciation for the assistance he received from U.S. authorities. He specifically thanked U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for their compassionate handling of his case. “Every officer I’ve interacted with has treated me with kindness and respect, and I am forever grateful,” he stated.
Additionally, he offered special recognition to Representative Adelita Grijalva for her active involvement in his case. According to Armando, Grijalva went “above and beyond” to assist his family in achieving an outcome they initially feared might be impossible.
Hannah’s Health Situation
Earlier in July, Armando faced a stressful situation when Hannah was rushed to a U.S. hospital due to an urgent medical matter. While he was initially separated from his family due to visa constraints, he managed to secure emergency travel authorization to join his daughter and husband, Kenny Niedermeier, shortly thereafter.
Although Hannah was initially discharged, she required re-admission to the hospital on Friday, July 24. Fortunately, she was released again the following day. Providing an update on her condition, Armando noted:
“Thankfully, the doctors were pleased with how she responded [to treatment] and felt comfortable letting her leave the hospital. Hannah is feeling better. Please continue praying for her healing and recovery. We appreciate every bit of love and support.”
