Featured August Premieres
To help you navigate the new releases, we have highlighted a few standout programs arriving this month that deserve a spot on your watch list:
Professor T – Season 4
The latest installment of the cozy mystery series finds Jasper (Ben Miller) and Helena (Juliet Stevenson) attempting to navigate a fresh romance at a secluded spa. However, their retreat is cut short by an «accidental» death that forces Jasper to contend with past demons and professional challenges. As the team tackles darker and more complex cases, shifts in the group dynamic—including a bolder Chloe (Rhian Blundell) and a turbulent romance for Dan (Barney White)—keep the tension high.
Bergerac – Season 1
This month also marks the return of an iconic detective classic in a modern reimagining by Toby Whithouse. Starring Damien Molony as Jim Bergerac, the series follows a protagonist struggling with personal loss and professional recovery. When a high-profile murder occurs within one of Jersey’s most affluent families, Bergerac is called back to duty. The investigation serves as both a test of his skills and a chance to reconcile with his daughter, Kim, and his mother-in-law, Charlie Hungerford (Zoë Wanamaker).
Weather Hunters – Volume 5
For younger viewers, the latest volume of Weather Hunters arrives on August 17. Created by Emmy-winning meteorologist Al Roker, the show follows the energetic Lily Hunter and her family as they investigate various natural phenomena, ranging from gentle morning dew to extreme weather events.
Dolly Parton: Here I Am
Arriving on August 30, this documentary offers an intimate look at the legendary country music icon. Through candid interviews and extensive archival footage, the film explores the creative process and the enduring spirit of an artist who continues to inspire global audiences.
