Sean 'Diddy' Combs' release from federal prison has been moved up by over five weeks, with the Federal Bureau of Prisons now listing his expected release date as April 25, 2028.
The 56-year-old music mogul is currently serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix, a low-security federal correctional facility in New Jersey, following his conviction on two prostitution-related charges.
His release date has changed several times since he began his sentence in October 2024. It was initially set for a later date, then pushed back to June 4, 2028, before the recent adjustment to April.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and faced serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He was acquitted of the most serious charges after a high-profile trial last summer but convicted on the prostitution counts. He is currently appealing his sentence.
While incarcerated, Combs is reportedly working in the prison chapel library and is enrolled in a drug treatment program (RDAP) that can reduce an inmate's sentence by up to one year upon completion.
