Ryan Reynolds has stated he has "never in (his) life been more proud" of his wife, actress Blake Lively, as she pursues a civil lawsuit. The "Deadpool" star made the comments during an interview, expressing admiration for her integrity amid the ongoing case.
The lawsuit, filed by Lively in late 2024 against her "It Ends with Us" co-star and director Justin Baldoni, recently saw a judge dismiss 10 of its 13 claims, including harassment and defamation allegations. Three claims, including breach of contract and retaliation, are proceeding to a trial set for May 18th.
Reynolds, reflecting on the public nature of the proceedings, highlighted the difference between digital perception and real life. He praised Lively's unwavering integrity throughout the situation.
During the same conversation, the couple, married since 2012, also humorously discussed their family life. They are parents to four children: daughters James, Inez, and Betty, and a son named Olin, born in 2023.
