Rebecca King Crews, the wife of actor and host Terry Crews, has revealed she has been battling Parkinson's disease for years. She is now speaking out to highlight a new non-invasive procedure that has significantly improved her life.
In a joint interview on the Today Show, Rebecca, 60, explained she was diagnosed in 2015 after first experiencing symptoms in 2012. She recently underwent a bilateral focused ultrasound surgery, which has already restored her ability to write with her right hand.
"I feel good," Rebecca said. "I'm able to write my name and my dates, and I'm able to write with my right hand for the first time in probably three years." She plans to have the procedure on the other side of her body later this year.
Terry Crews, 57, spoke about their partnership, stating, "When they say sickness and health, this is the battle that we were designed to fight together. Where she's weak, I'm strong. Where I'm weak, she's strong." Rebecca added, "Terry is my rock. And I thank God that he has the means to take care of me."
