Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld and her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, have welcomed their first child, a daughter. The couple announced the birth on Thursday through Steinfeld's Substack newsletter, Beau Society.
"Our baby girl has arrived!!" they wrote in the post. "We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes." The note was signed "Love, Hailee and Josh."
Steinfeld, 29, and Allen, 29, married in May 2025. They largely kept the pregnancy private, with the baby's gender revealed only after the birth. Steinfeld occasionally shared details of her experience on her Substack, writing in February about the "surreal, full-body awareness" of their impending family expansion.
Allen expressed his excitement for fatherhood at a January press conference, stating, "this is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, being a dad." The couple first announced the pregnancy in December with a video showing Steinfeld showcasing her baby bump.
