Emilie Kiser has responded to a public question about how she "forgave" her husband Brady after the death of their three-year-old son, Trigg. The toddler tragically drowned in the family's backyard pool in May 2025, with Brady being the only parent home at the time.
Following the incident, police recommended a child abuse charge against Brady, citing evidence the boy was unsupervised for over nine minutes. However, prosecutors declined to press charges, stating there was "no likelihood of conviction."
Emilie, a lifestyle content creator, took a social media hiatus after the tragedy, returning in August to share her grief. She has since been open about her therapy and healing process.
In a recent TikTok comment, she addressed the question of forgiveness directly. "You don't heal from the loss, you learn to live with the grief," she wrote, emphasizing therapy, love, empathy, and ignoring outside opinions as key to her journey.
She has also stated that her entire family's unwavering love for both Brady and Trigg has helped them come together in the aftermath of the loss.
