President Donald Trump recently took a moment during a White House Rose Garden luncheon to publicly commend rapper Nicki Minaj. Addressing the crowd on July 6, the President spoke highly of the 43-year-old artist, describing her as a figure of significant influence and skill.
“We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of, I don’t say conservative, I say of common sense,” Trump remarked during the event. He continued his praise by noting her genuine abilities: “She’s a fantastic person and she’s a woman that’s respected by everybody and she’s got real talent.”

The President revisited the subject of the rapper later in the event while discussing the Small Business Administration. Trump drew a parallel between the scale of the organization and Minaj's own success, stating, “Nicki Minaj is so incredible. They call it small business, Nicki, but when you add it up, it’s bigger than any back in the world, probably, right? It’s not small business, but she’s done fantastically and I appreciate it.”
Minaj’s Experience at the White House
The Grammy-nominated artist appeared to enjoy her time at the executive mansion, sharing several moments from her visit on social media. Using the hashtag “WhiteHouseBarbie,” Minaj posted images of herself at the garden party and later shared a photo taken inside the Oval Office alongside the President at his desk.
“Whoa!!!! #WhiteHouseBarbie with her favorite President of all time!!!,” she wrote on X.
A Growing Political Alliance
Minaj has increasingly become a visible presence at various events hosted by the President, including the Trump Accounts Summit held earlier this year. During that summit in Washington, D.C., she openly declared her support for him.
“I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan, and that’s not going to change,” she told the attendees. She further emphasized her commitment to his administration, stating that public criticism only strengthens her resolve to support him, adding that she believes he has significant backing and divine protection.
