The tribute from the family patriarch followed the public announcement made by Chad Lowe, 58, and his wife, Kim Painter. In a statement expressing the family's deep grief, they reflected on Fiona’s personality, describing her as the “light of our lives.” The couple shared that she was deeply cherished by her parents and her two sisters, Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time,” the family’s statement concluded.

Only about a year ago, Chad Lowe celebrated Fiona entering her teenage years with a joyful Instagram post, encouraging her to “keep dancing through life.”
