Court Mandate for Mediation
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Annemarie Wiley and her estranged husband, Marcellus Wiley, have received a court order to engage in mediation regarding the custody and visitation arrangements for their three children. According to legal documents, the primary goal of this intervention is to facilitate the creation of a structured parenting plan.
The couple, who share a 10-year-old son, Marcellus Jr., and two daughters, Ariya (7) and Alivia (6), are required to complete these sessions prior to their next scheduled court date on July 24. A video conference has been set for July 22, during which a mediator will work with the pair to reach an amicable agreement. Alternatively, the parties have the option to resolve custody issues through a specific online program; however, should that process fail to yield a resolution, attendance at the video conference remains mandatory.
Background of the Divorce Proceedings
The legal action follows Annemarie Wiley’s divorce filing in Los Angeles on July 6, where she cited irreconcilable differences. The pair, who had been married since 2014, are currently entangled in a contentious legal battle. Annemarie has requested both legal and physical custody of the children, along with spousal support and the coverage of her legal fees. Furthermore, she has sought a domestic violence restraining order.
In her filing, Annemarie alleged a pattern of behavior by Marcellus involving physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, as well as financial control. These allegations surfaced shortly after Marcellus was reportedly arrested following an altercation at a hotel in Florida, during which Annemarie claimed he made physical threats against her.
Response from Marcellus Wiley
Marcellus Wiley has categorically denied the allegations. In a statement shared via social media, he emphasized his commitment to his children and his intent to challenge the claims made against him:
«I love my children with everything I am. My highest priority has always been protecting them and preserving the relationship they have with both of their parents,» he stated.
Marcellus indicated his intention to provide evidence, including digital correspondence and photographs, to counter what he characterized as baseless claims. He further accused his wife of infidelity and alleged she had engaged in behavior he described as a «voodoo spell» directed at his family. He concluded by expressing his determination to protect his reputation and his role as a father, stating he is fighting to preserve the positive image his children have of him.
