Actress Rosanna Arquette has publicly criticized director Quentin Tarantino for his repeated use of the N-word in his films. In a recent interview, Arquette, who starred in 'Pulp Fiction,' called the movie iconic but stated she is 'over' Tarantino's use of the racial slur, claiming he has been given an unfair 'hall pass.'

'It's not art, it's just racist and creepy,' she asserted. This criticism echoes past controversies, notably surrounding Tarantino's film 'Django Unchained,' which used the word over 110 times. Director Spike Lee has also previously condemned Tarantino's 'excessive use' of the word.

Tarantino has consistently defended his artistic choices, stating he refuses to soften his scripts in response to social criticism. Despite the controversy, 'Django Unchained' won Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay for Tarantino.
