Setting the Record Straight
Machine Gun Kelly, whose birth name is Colson Baker, has officially addressed and dismissed a misleading post circulating on social media. The post in question, which was falsely attributed to the artist, suggested that he was struggling with regret over the end of his relationship with his former fiancée, Megan Fox.
The fabricated content, which appeared on X (formerly Twitter), included inflammatory remarks about the couple's breakup. The fake message claimed, among other things, that seeing recent photos of Fox made the rapper want to destroy his phone and that he could never forgive himself for “fumbling” the relationship with the actress.
A Complicated History
The real-life relationship between Fox and Baker began in 2020 after they crossed paths on the set of the film Midnight in the Switchgrass. Their romance quickly intensified, leading to an engagement in January 2022. However, the couple experienced a turbulent dynamic, dating on and off until their final separation in late 2024.
Following their split, the two welcomed a daughter, Saga, in March 2025. According to insiders, the pair now maintains a strictly professional connection, focusing exclusively on co-parenting responsibilities. “They both know they have toxic tendencies and it’s much better this way,” a source noted regarding the state of their current dynamic.
Moving Forward
While his past relationship remains a topic of public interest, Baker has recently been linked to actress Dakota Johnson. Reports indicate that the two connected during a summer wedding and have been seeing each other frequently since.
“They are seriously dating and their relationship has moved quickly,” an insider shared. “There was an instant spark and they have been keeping in touch, talking and FaceTiming every day.”
The relationship appears to be gaining momentum, with sources highlighting that Johnson even traveled to Milan to support Baker, suggesting that the two are committed to exploring their connection despite the media speculation surrounding Baker's past.
