During the eighth stop of his "Forever Tour" at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, July 23, legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi was forced to conclude his performance after only 90 minutes. The 64-year-old musician stopped the show shortly after playing his classic 1986 hit, "Livin’ on a Prayer," and addressed the disappointed audience.
«Don’t throw away your ticket stubs. I’m going to figure something out,» he told the crowd. «Just hang onto it. I’m going to figure out how to reschedule.»

Following the abrupt conclusion of the event, a representative for the singer clarified the situation, confirming that Bon Jovi is suffering from a sinus infection. The statement noted:

The singer is currently scheduled to return to the stage at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, July 26, before the tour continues to Edinburgh in August.
A Challenging Road to Recovery
This tour represents a significant milestone for the artist, marking his return to the stage following a serious vocal cord injury. In 2022, the rocker underwent surgery to treat an atrophying vocal cord that had begun to deteriorate after years of heavy performance demands.
Explaining the medical procedure, Bon Jovi shared that a surgeon placed an implant to support the weakened vocal cord. When asked if decades of hitting demanding high notes caused the damage, he remained reflective, stating: «You know, it’s 40 years of hard work. I don’t really know.»
