The couple, who wed in August 2012 and share two sons, Ellis and Luke, announced their separation on June 15. Since the split, Jen has spoken candidly about the reasons behind the dissolution of their marriage. She alleged that her former partner was leading a “double life,” claiming that he was involved with a 56-year-old woman.
Reflecting on the situation, Jen shared her perspective on the challenges of leaving a difficult marriage: “Yes, I should have left him way earlier—giving myself grace. I am so fortunate to have the means and resources to leave a bad relationship. There are so many women who are unable to do so.”

“Is what I’m going through just the most craziest stuff I’ve ever heard of in my life? Nope. It is awful though. I love to take something awful and turn it into something good for other people,” Jen stated.
