During the 2026 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, 27-year-old artist Ella Langley experienced a profound moment of vulnerability. While accepting the prestigious Female Artist of the Year award on May 17, Langley became visibly moved, struggling to articulate her gratitude as she stood on stage.

«I’m trying to say something, but I can’t,» Langley shared with the audience. «Thank you. To the women in this category, to the women in this life, this is a weird thing to do. Today I was having a strange day. I don’t know what it is about awards, but I have strange days in the mornings here.»


Support from Fellow Artists

Despite the high-pressure environment of the ceremony, Langley found solace in the camaraderie of her fellow nominees. Her peers played a crucial role in grounding her during the ceremony. Notably, fellow nominee Megan Moroney was absent from the event, fulfilling duties as a maid of honor at her best friend's wedding.
