Carlin Bates from "Bringing Up Bates" recently faced a stressful moment at airport security when traveling with her family. The mother of three was carrying a freezer bag containing 69 ounces of her own breastmilk and was anxious that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents might make her discard it.

In an Instagram video posted on March 30, Bates documented the experience alongside her husband, Evan Stewart. She expressed her fear, stating, "What if they literally make me throw all of this away?" Evan also shared his concern, noting the significant amount of milk she had pumped.

The video shows Bates explaining the contents to TSA agents. According to TSA regulations, breastmilk is considered a medically necessary liquid and is exempt from the standard 3.4-ounce limit for carry-on liquids.

After a brief inspection and a swipe test of her hands, the agents allowed her to keep the breastmilk. A relieved Bates later said, "That was the easiest thing ever," and encouraged other traveling mothers not to worry. She acknowledged that experiences may vary by airport but rated her own a "10/10."
