A Promising Start on the Dance Floor

As the 35th season of Dancing With the Stars approaches, professional dancer Britt Stewart is speaking out about her experience training with her celebrity partner, Taylor Hanson. Despite the intense schedule involving early morning rehearsals, Stewart is impressed by the singer’s commitment and natural progress, noting that his lack of formal dance training has not hindered his dedication.

In a recent update shared via social media, Stewart, 36, expressed her excitement for the upcoming season, stating: «I’m just really impressed with him and I’m just very excited for him and for this season. I cannot wait, and on top of that, I just feel like Taylor is such a good human.»

Building a Connection

Hanson, 43, was recently revealed as part of the star-studded cast for the new season, which features high-profile names including Jenna Dewan, Tyler Cameron, and Julia Stiles. Although the pair has only been working together for a short time, Stewart believes their professional pairing is meaningful.

«Obviously, Taylor and I just met and we’re still getting to know each other, but it’s been really nice to just space with him,» Stewart remarked. «We’re finding that we have actually a lot in common. It’s pretty wild, and I am so grateful. I’m feeling very blessed that he’s my partner.»

Hanson’s Perspective on the Competition

For his part, the musician is equally enthusiastic about the opportunity to refine his skills under Stewart’s guidance. Rather than focusing solely on the trophy, Hanson views the experience as an opportunity for personal growth and enjoyment.

«We are here to have a great time. I have a great teacher,» Hanson stated regarding the partnership. «There’s really no loss in this for me. Every day we're doing this it’s a win. I’m here to leave it all on the dance floor, so my only competition is the challenge of being excellent.»

Season Premiere Details

Fans can look forward to seeing the duo’s debut performance during the two-night premiere of Dancing With the Stars. The season kicks off on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
