A Long-Awaited Reunion?
Anna Camp, known for her iconic role in Pitch Perfect, has expressed a strong desire to reunite on-screen with her former co-star Brittany Snow. Following the success of the Netflix drama The Hunting Wives, Camp revealed that she would be more than happy to appear in a cameo role alongside Snow.
«Sign me up! I would die to be on that show,» Camp shared during the MPTF NextGen Summer Party. «They have such amazing story lines, they get to do some really fun, juicy things.»
Celebrating Success and Friendship
Brittany Snow debuted as Sophie O’Neil in The Hunting Wives in July 2025, a series that quickly secured a second season renewal. The show, which follows the intense and provocative lives of an elite group of Texas socialites, has garnered praise for its bold narrative, which includes complex themes of betrayal, romance, and mystery.
Camp praised her friend’s performance, noting: «I feel like Brittany is so fearless on that show, and Malin (Akerman), as well. And I just am so proud of her, it’s really, really awesome.»
The admiration is mutual. Camp shared that after the show gained traction, she reached out to Snow to offer her congratulations. Snow returned the sentiment, expressing her excitement to see Camp take on the role of Jessica Bowden in the upcoming Scream 7.
A Bond Forged Through Time
The connection between Camp and Snow began over a decade ago on the set of the Pitch Perfect franchise, where they portrayed college best friends Aubrey and Chloe. Over the years, their professional relationship blossomed into a deep personal friendship.
Reflecting on their journey, Camp noted the significant life changes they have navigated together:
«We kind of grew up together, right? I was so young when I did that first movie. We’ve seen each other through relationships, divorces, ups and downs, and watched each other grow up in so many amazing ways.»
Camp also credited the franchise's creator, Elizabeth Banks, for fostering a tight-knit community among the cast, stating that the group truly feels like a family and that she would be willing to support any of her former castmates at any time.
